Synod Niagara 2022 divided the Missions Committee into two  the Synodical Committee on Home Missions (SCHM) and Synodical Committee on Foreign Missions (SCFM).

•    Promotes tools for consistories/classes to use in the evaluation of church planters/plants
•    Identifies training and developmental programs for home missions
•    When requested, advises Classical Committees on Home Missions
